BMW 1 series was hopefully the least expensive model in the company’s line-up. Its base model 128i was powered by a 3.0-ltr V6 engine for generating 228hp, mated to 6-speed automatic transmission, while the performance-oriented model was equipped with a 3.0-ltr inline-6 turbocharged engine for generating 300hp and 300 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission called as DCT.
BMW 1 series is shorter and narrower than 3-series coupe as it has 171.7-inch length and 76.1-inch width in dimension. It offers lesser space for rear passenger as it’s strictly designed for 2+2 seating arrangement.
