BMW Driving Towards 2011 Production Goal

BMW Manufacturing Unit is on its way to meet 2011’s goal of manufacturing 270,000 vehicles and it had announced that it would develop 6,730 vehicles in one of the weeks of December.

It breaks down to 1,109 X6 sports activity coupes, 2,466 X5 sports activity vehicles and 3,155 X3 SAVs. In November, the firm has developed almost 24,679 vehicles, including 3,680 X6s, 9,650 X5s, and 11,349 X3s.

So far, the Greer plant and its 7,000 employees including permanent and contract workers have developed 264,954 vehicles. It includes 41,980 X6 units, 106,329 X5 units, and 116,644 X3 units. As per the company, they are expecting 300,000 units of sales in US.
